Puff pastry cream cake: everyone will love the result!

Easy, quick and delicious: the perfect dessert to surprise your guests!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
150g (0.7 cup) sugar
1 pinch of salt
3 medium eggs
Grated rind of 1 organic lemon
30g (4 tbsp) corn starch
50ml (0.2 cup) lemon juice
250ml (1 cup) of milk at room temperature
600ml (2.5 cups) whipped cream
2 rolls of rectangular puff pastry
Powdered sugar
METHOD
- Prepare a piece of puff pastry and put it to bake. Cut another piece of puff pastry into 5 x 5.5 cm cubes and bake as well.
- Pour sugar, starch, a pinch of salt, lemon peel, eggs, lemon juice and milk into the cooking pot. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture thickens, remove from the heat and cover with cling film and allow to cool completely.
- Whip the whipped cream.
- Add half of the whipped cream to the pudding and combine it.
- Fold the cake. Put a layer of puff pastry, pudding, then with the help of a dressing bag and a continuation add whipped cream over which you put the puff pastry cubes.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
