Filo rolls: these mouthwatering morsels are amazing!

A cheaper and healthier alternative to sausage rolls, these delicious filo rolls make a perfect pre-dinner nibble or snack ready in minutes!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack of filo dough (800 g)
For greasing;
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- pinch salt
For filling;
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 medium onions
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 yolks
METHOD
- Mix ingredients for greasing
- Add butter and onion in a frying pan, cook for 3-5 minutes
- Add the remaining ingredients and fry until the meat is ready.
- Grease filo dough with an oil mixture, cover with another layer of dough (there should be 8 pieces in one roll)
- Put the stuffing and roll
- Beat eggs with yolks and grease top of the rolls.
- Bake at 200°C/400°F for 10-15 minutes
