Homemade fig jam: how to make it at home in a few steps!

This sweet fig jam is so easy to make at home! With its unique taste, it goes perfect with either sweet or savory dishes like muffins, bread, or cheeses.

INGREDIENTS
 1kg Fig
 300 g sugar
 100 icing sugar
 Lemon juice
 100ml water

METHOD
  1. Peel each fig and place the flesh in a pot.
  2. Add sugar and icing sugar and mix, then add the juice from 1 lemon. Macerate for 1 hour, then add the water.
  3. Cook the figs for 1 hour on a low flame, mixing from time to time Blend everything while continuing to cook until thick.
  4. Pour into sterilized jars and let stand overnight.
