Focaccia sandwich: how to make it at home step by step!

How to make the best focaccia bread that's perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside!

500 g (1 pound) flour;
2 cups warm milk;
30 g (1 oz) fresh yeast;
¼ cup vegetable oil;
2 tsp sugar;
3 tsp salt;
milk and sesame seeds.

Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
Whisk flour and salt together.
Add sugar to the warm milk and sprinkle crumbled up yeast. Whisk to dissolve the yeast and set aside for 10 minutes.
Add flour to the liquids and stir the dough until it is nice and smooth.
Pour the dough into a parchment covered and greased baking pan, then let sit in warmth for 1 hour.
Brush the surface with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and leave to cool down.
Slice focaccia into pieces and use to make sandwiches or eat by itself.
