Fried dessert tofu

Ingredients:
For the donuts:
1 block silken tofu;
1 cup all-purpose flour;
1 cup rice flour;
1 ½ tsp baking powder;
5 tbsp sugar;
a pinch of salt;
vegetable oil for deep frying.
For the glaze:
1 cup all-purpose flour;
1 cup rice flour;
1 ½ tsp baking powder;
5 tbsp sugar;
a pinch of salt;
vegetable oil for deep frying.
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar;
1 tbsp honey;
3 tbsp lemon juice.
1 tbsp honey;
3 tbsp lemon juice.
Instructions
Push silken tofu through a sieve. Add both types of flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Roll small portions of dough into balls and arrange them on pieces of parchment paper, making small circles as shown on the video.
Preheat vegetable oil to 180C/350F. Carefully put donuts into preheated oil and fry for about 5 minutes or until golden on both sides.
Meanwhile make a simple honey glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, lemon juice and honey until smooth.
Drizzle honey glaze over warm donuts before serving.
