Fried Ice Cream: here is how to make Chinese style fried ice cream at home

Cold and soft on the inside, hot and crispy on the outside. If you’ve never tried this dessert before, it’s time you did!

INGREDIENTS
ice cream
plastic wrap
brioche bread (2 slices for each scoop of ice cream))

for the batter:
100g flour
100ml water
1 egg

vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS
Pick your favorite flavor of ice cream. Scoop it into balls and freeze them until they become hard. In the meantime, slightly overlap two slices of bread and flatten them using a rolling pin. Place the ice cream ball on the bread and, with the help of plastic wrap, cover the ice cream ball with the bread. Freeze the bread covered ice cream for 2 hours. Dip them in the batter (made by mixing together flour, water, and one egg), fry them in peanut oil for about one minute and then place them on a paper towel. The fried ice cream is ready to serve, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside!
