Tangerine cake: it’s so irresistibly moist and delicious!
published on 18 January, 2018 at 12:02
INGREDIENTS3 organic tangerines
for the batter:
3 eggs
salt
200g sugar
100ml vegetable oil
290g flour
100ml milk
16g baking powder
for the filling:
tangerine marmalade, as needed
DIRECTIONS
1. Slice the tangerines. You can either peel them first or you can leave the peel on. If you choose to not peel them, we suggest you use organic untreated tangerines.
2. Place the slices of tangerine in a 24cm cake pan. Prepare the cake batter by mixing together the eggs and salt, add the oil, milk, sugar, and sifted flour, lastly add the baking powder.
3. Pour the batter over the tangerines and bake at 180° for 40 minutes.
4. Let the cake cool, then slice it into two parts and spread some tangerine ( or orange) marmalade in the center.
