Apple and Alchermes bundt cake: sweet and fragrant!

INGREDIENTS
5 apples
110ml of Alchermes
4 eggs
190g (1 cup) of sugar
110ml (1/2 cup) of vegetable oil
110ml (1/2 cup) of milk
350g (3 cups) of all-purpose flour
16g (1 tbsp) of baking powder
40g (1/4 cup) of cocoa powder
Orange (juice)
1 orange (juice)
Chocolate flakes
METHOD
1. Peel and cut the apples into slices and transfer them to the bowl. Pour the Alchermes and mix them well.
2. In a bowl add the eggs and sugar and start to mix with the electric mixer. Add the vegetable oil, and milk and sift the flour and baking powder. Continue mixing until combined.
3. Split the mixture in half and in one half add the cocoa powder and orange (juice) and mix to combine. In another half add the orange (zest) and mix with a spatula to combine.
4. Pour in the cake mold (25cm - mold size) first cocoa mixture and then add apple slices on top. Pour the white mixture and arrange apple slices on top.
5. Pour the Alchermes syrup on top and sprinkle with chocolate flakes. Transfer to the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 50 minutes.
6. Serve on a serving plate after baking, cut a slice, and serve.
