Salted cod fritters: everyone will love this Portuguese recipe!

INGREDIENTS
420g of potatoes
320g of cod
1/2 onion
1 clove of garlic
Parsley
1 egg
Nutmeg
Salt
Pepper
Oil for frying
METHOD
1. Peal and cut the potatoes into small pieces and transfer them to the pot with water. Boil for 30 minutes and then remove from the heat. Smash them to the bowl.
2. Add the cod to the pot with water and let it boil for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.
3. In a bowl with the smashed potatoes add the cod, onion, garlic, parsley, egg, nutmeg, salt, and pepper and mix with a spatula to combine.
4. Oil the hands from the croquettes shape and transfer them to the pan with hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown.
5. Serve the cod fritters all together on a serving plate.
