Ladyfingers cake: creamy and easy to prepare!

INGREDIENTS

1l (4 cups) milk
300g ladyfingers
180g (1 1/2 cups) cornstarch
5 eggs
230g (1 1/8 cups) sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
230g cream cheese
Powdered sugar for decoration

METHOD

In the pan mix together milk with eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cornstarch. Cook on low heat until thickness, add in cream cheese.
Put the first layer of sponge fingers into the form, cover with prepared cream, and top with the second layer of sponge fingers.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or more.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
