French bread: you will fall in love!

INGREDIENTS
35g (1/4 cup) of flour
7g of instant dry yeast
40ml (2 3/4 tbsp) of water
7g of instant dry yeast
40ml (2 3/4 tbsp) of water
380g (3 cups + 1/2 tbsp) of all purpose flour
10g (2 1/3 tsp) of sugar
7g (1 1/2 tsp) of salt
20g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) of butter
210ml (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp) of water
10g (2 1/3 tsp) of sugar
7g (1 1/2 tsp) of salt
20g (1 tbsp + 1 tsp) of butter
210ml (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp) of water
METHOD
- In a bowl add the flour, instant dry yeast, and lukewarm water mix well. Cover the top and wait for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, add the flour, sugar, salt, butter and when the dough has been lumped together, transfer it to the workbench and start kneading the dough until it is smooth (about 10-15 minutes).
- Form the dough into a large ball. Cover the top and let the dough rest for 2 hours, or until doubled size, in a warm place.
- Transfer the dough to the workbench. Press the dough to remove gas and divide it into 6 pieces. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin. Then roll it up from top to bottom. Cover the top and wait for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, shape the dough again in the same way as in step 4. Put the dough on a tray and let it proof until it 1,5-doubled in size in a warm place. (About 40-50 minutes)
- Before baking, make a long cut on the surface of the dough and spray water on it.
- Bake in the oven at 200°C/392°F for 13-15 minutes.
