How to clean hood filters with citric acid: the easy and natural method

The kitchen hood is one useful home appliance, as it absorbs all the fumes and odors that are released while we cook.
This particular function is also the reason why its filters collect grease and dirt and they need to be clean regularly.
Let's see now ho to make a home made detergente precisely for this purpose.
You'll need:
Spoon
Baking tray
Sponge
Citric acid
Hot water
Directions:
1. Firstly remove the filters from the hood and place them in a baking tray.
2. Sprinkle with a tbsp of citric acid.
3. Cover with hot water.
4. Mix well with a spoon so that the citric acid completely dissolves into water.
5. Leave it soaking for a few minutes to remove all the dirt.
6. After that, rinse the filters with running water and a sponge.
