How to recycle empty cans: the result is amazing!

MATERIALS

• Hammer
• Nail
• Sander
• Empty food cans
• Candles
• White paint (optional)
• Marker pen
• Cardboard stencil
• Wire

METHOD

Mark out a shape on the outside of the can using a cardboard stencil. Hammer the nail in around the edge of the shape and the can will start to break as you put the holes closer together.
Pull out the shape and sand down the edges. You can paint the cans if you like. Make two more holes towards the top and create a handle with the wire.
