Mac and cheese stuffed onion rings: you’ve never tried anything like it before!

A double onion ring with mac and cheese stuffed into the middle and deep fried to golden perfection!

INGREDIENTS
• 2 large white onions
• 1/2 cup pasta elbow
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/2 tsp ground garlic
• 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
• 2 cups of breadcrumbs
• 4 large eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1 liter vegetable oil, for frying
 
METHOD
1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Onion cut into slices 1-1.5 cm thick and divide into rings.
3. Place small rings inside large rings to make double onion rings with a gap of 1–1.5 cm inside. Put aside.
4. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package and drain when cooked.
5. In a sauce pan add milk and garlic powder to the pasta. Add cheese, mix until creamy.
6. Press the macaroni into the hole in the double onion rings.
7. Freeze for 2 hours.
8. Add 5 cm of oil to the saucepan or to the pan (FULL DIP)
9. Dip each ring in flour, egg, and then breadcrumbs. And again in egg and bread crumbs
10. Place the rings in the oil. Fry for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and remove on a plate with a paper towel.
