Egg cartons: some useful ideas to recycle them!

Egg ice

MATERIALS:

Medium-sized egg carton
Cling film

Coke

METHOD:

1. Line a medium egg carton with film.

2. Fill the cardboard holes with coca cola and freeze.

Egg bin

MATERIALS:

3 large egg cartons

Screwdriver

Cable ties

Rubbish bag

Card

Scissors

METHOD:

1. Form a triangle with the 3 egg cartons.

2. Make holes in the sides with a screwdriver.

3. Join the egg cartons together with cable ties through the holes.

4. Cut out a triangle piece of cardboard and tie to the bottom with more cable ties.

5. Cut the ends off the cable ties.

6. Place a plastic bag inside and use it as a trash can.

Large egg carton

Marker

Paper Heart template

Scissors

Red Paint

Red Ribbon

METHOD:

1. Draw a heart on the egg carton using a paper template.

2. Cut it out.

3. Paint red, add a red ribbon to the top and use it to pin on notes and shopping lists.
