Persimmon jam: ready with just 5 ingredients!

Persimmon jam is very easy to make, it can be used in cheesecakes or just spread it on toast!

INGREDIENTS
 3 small jars
 1.4kg ripe persimmon
 500g sugar
 1 lemon
 Cinnamon to taste
 Vanilla essence
 
METHOD
  1. Wash the persimmons, peel them, and cut them into pieces.
  2. Put in a pot, place over low heat, add 300 g of sugar, stir, and cook for 20 minutes. Add cinnamon and lemon peel, stir, cover, and cook until it boils.
  3. Blend the fruit then add the rest of the sugar and cook for another 30 minutes.
