Stuffed calamari

Ingredients:
3 calamari;
2 cups fresh breadcrumbs;
zest of 1 lemon;
3 tbsp olive oil;
3 springs of fresh basil;
salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions
Clean calamari, removing the insides and peeling of the skin on the outside. Wash under running water.
Make a simple bread filling by combining breadcrumbs with olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped basil and lemon zest.
Fill calamaris with bread filling and secure with a toothpick.
Grill calamaris over embers for about 2 minutes per side. Remove from the heat, take out toothpicks and cut into portions. Serve with lemon slices and more olive oil.
