Sweet and Sour Onions excellent as an appetizer or side dish!

Sweet and sour braised pearl or boiling onions flavored with vinegar and honey, they are irresistible!

INGREDIENTS
1kg onions
250ml white wine
250ml olive oil
250ml white vinegar
50g salt
50g sugar
3 bay leaves
1 tsp fennel
1 tsp pepper
Water

METHOD
  1. Place all the onions in a bowl, add water until they are covered. Peel each one.
  2. Pour water, wine, oil, bay leaf, pepper, sugar, fennel, salt into a pot and bring to a boil. Add the onions and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the onions into glass jars and fill with the liquid.
