Baked ham rolls: a delicious idea for a quick and tasty dinner!

INGREDIENTS

500g (1 pound) potatoes, peeled and boiled;
Salt and pepper;
30g (2 tbsp) butter;
60g (¼ cup) parmesan cheese;
Sliced ham;
Sliced cheese;
30g (2 tbsp) butter;
30g (2 tbsp) flour;
375ml (1 ½ cup) milk;
Salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste;
Shredded cheese for topping.
METHOD
- Mash potatoes with butter, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.
- Wrap a spoonful of potato mixture into a slice of ham, placing some cheese in the middle.
- Melt butter and saute some flour in it for around 30 seconds. Pour and milk and cook the sauce, while constantly whisking, for around 5 minutes or until thick. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
- Place ham rolls into the baking pan and pour bechamel sauce on top. Add cheese on top and bake for 15 minutes at 190C/375F.
