Onion in the garden: the useful way to use it
published on 15 June, 2020 at 13:25
Leftover onions and peel are often thrown away. In fact, they are really useful and can be reused in gardening. Let's see in particular how to recycle the onion.
Compost: combine the onion peel with the food waste and mix them all. Then add it all to the soil.
Mulch: arrange the onion skins directly on the soil of your plant.
Pesticide: blend an onion, 2 cloves of garlic, two teaspoons of chili pepper, a teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Add the water and mix until you have a liquid compound. Keep it in the fridge.
Fertilizer: boil the onion skins and then filter the juice. Dilute with an equal amount of water and pour it into the soil.
Roots: whisk 1/4 onion with aloe gel and cinnamon juice (put a stick in water for 24 hours). Dip the root in the mixture and plant it.
