The best easy sweet fritters ever: 3 recipes you must try!

1. Italian sweet fritters
INGREDIENTS
• 120g flour
• 1 egg
• Pinch of salt
• 25g sugar
• Milk 200ml
• Lemon rind
• Vanilla
• Oil
• Icing sugar
METHOD
Pour the egg into a bowl, add sugar, salt and whisk.
Add lemon zest, vanilla essence and beat again.
Add the milk little by little while you keep mixing.
Place the flour in a sieve and add to the mixture while whisking.
Heat oil in a pot and put the rosette fritter tool in the oil, wait for it to heat up and place in the mixture.
Quickly replace it in the hot oil.
Remove from the oil and drain.

2. Fried flowers cookies
INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour;
1 egg yolk;
½ tbsp lemon juice;
2 tbsp butter, room temperature;
a pinch of salt;
¼ package of dry yeast;
½ cup warm water;
½ cup honey;
½ cup hot water.
METHOD
Combine dry ingredients together: salt, yeast and flour. Add butter and egg yolk, mix with your hands to form fine crumbs, then add warm water and work the dough until it comes together.
Cover the dough with plastic and set aside to rise and double in size.
Meanwhile make simple honey syrup by whisking honey and warm water together. You can optionally add a teaspoon of lemon juice into the mixture.
Cut the dough in half, roll each half out and cut forming flours of 3 different sizes, using cookie cutter.
Connect 3 different flowers using just a little bit of water and add small round of the dough into the center.
Fry in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes, until golden. Place on paper towels and pour syrup while the flowers are still hot.

• 1 tsp vanilla

• ½ tsp baking powder
• 1 tbsp water
• 1 cup milk
• 2 tbsp oil for mixture, plus more oil for frying
• 2 tsp Cinnamon
• Strainer
• Bunuelo tool
• 1 ¼ cup flour
• 2 Eggs
• 1 ½ tbsp sugar for mixture, plus more sugar for dusting
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Pinch of salt
• ½ tsp baking powder
• 1 tbsp water
• 1 cup milk
• 2 tbsp oil for mixture, plus more oil for frying
• 2 tsp Cinnamon
• Strainer
• Bunuelo tool
METHOD
Mix in the following order the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, vanilla, water, oil, eggs, and add a
little milk, keep mixing.
Strain the mixture to remove lumps.
Pour oil into a pot and wait until it is very hot.
Put the bunuelo tool in the oil so that it is hot and immediately put it in the mixture so that the
mixture sticks to the end of the tool, then return immediately to the oil and remove it with a slotted
spoon.
Mix sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the bunuelos.
Mix in the following order the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, vanilla, water, oil, eggs, and add a
little milk, keep mixing.
Strain the mixture to remove lumps.
Pour oil into a pot and wait until it is very hot.
Put the bunuelo tool in the oil so that it is hot and immediately put it in the mixture so that the
mixture sticks to the end of the tool, then return immediately to the oil and remove it with a slotted
spoon.
Mix sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the bunuelos.
