Stained glass cookies: the best Christmas idea!

INGREDIENTS
3 cups flour
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
Powdered sugar, for rolling out dough
colored candies, separated into colors and smashed into a powder (about 15-20 total)
METHOD
Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In other bowl beat together butter and sugar. Add egg and milk and beat until combine. Add flour, and form the dough in a ball, refrigerate for 1 hours.
Sprinkle surface with powdered sugar. Roll out dough to ¼-1/8-inch thick. Cut into different shapes. Cut out a center section of the larger version with a smaller cookie cutter to make a "window". Place the cookies with the cut out about 1-inch apart on a parchment lined baking sheet. Carefully spoon some of the crushed candies into the middle of each cookie.
Bake for 8 min at350ºF/180ºC
