Ice cream sandwich: the best summer dessert!

INGREDIENTS

1 box chocolate cake mix
2 – 3 pints your favorite ice cream
cooking spray
smarties
chocolate sauce

METHOD

Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
Preheat the waffle iron and spray it with cooking spray.
Make some waffles and let them cool down and then chill for about 30 minutes.
Spread softened ice cream onto the frozen waffle, top it with smarties and chocolate sauce. Now put another frozen waffle on top of and press gently.
Freeze the whole waffle sandwich for 2 hours.
Divide each whole waffle sandwich into 4 individual ice cream sandwiches, and serve them immediately.
