published on 14 July, 2018 at 12:08
Don't throw away burnt stained iron, use this natural method to clean it and make it go back to its original state. With the iron still hot, pass half a lemon and let rest for 5 minutes. Then pass a sponge with vinegar long the whole sole plate. Pour some vinegar in water and remove all residue. Finally, pass a few drops of dish soap over the plate to clean it.
But there are other methods to clean a burnt iron:
- Salt:
Take a piece of newspaper and cover it with a generous amount of salt, warm up the iron and rub it along the paper from front to back until the stains disappear.
The stains will be drawn out onto the newspaper and then you''ll just use the iron.
