Apple sfogliatelle: the variant of the pastry dumplings to try!

INGREDIENTS
1 puff pastry sheet
Lemon zest
1 apple
1 tbsp sugar
Butter
Lemon juice
Powdered sugar
Apricot jam

METHOD
  1. Peel and grate an apple in a bowl.
  2. Add lemon zest and lemon juice, add sugar, and mix. Cut a slice of puff pastry into medium rectangles.
  3. Make several cuts in one half of each rectangle horizontally. Smear melted butter on the uncut end.
  4. Fold, add a tablespoon of grated apple mixture, add apricot jam and fold both corners into the center, forming a triangle.
  5. Place each triangle on a baking tray.
  6. Butter each one, sprinkle with powdered sugar and bake for 15 minutes at 200°C (392°F). Sprinkle more icing sugar to serve.
