Chicken legs: the secret to make them crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!

How to make them crispy and delicious!

INGREDIENTS
8 chicken drumsticks;
500ml (2 cups) buttermilk;
120g (1 cup) all-purpose flour;
½ tsp ground black pepper;
1 tsp paprika;
2 eggs;
240g (2 cups) breadcrumbs;
Chili sauce for serving.
METHOD
  1. Cut and slide meat from the top of the bone of each drumstick as shown in the video.
  2. Place drumsticks into a bowl and pour buttermilk on top.
  3. Let the chicken sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
  4. Whisk flour with pepper and paprika.
  5. Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl.
  6. Dredge marinated chicken in flour, dip into eggs, and cover with breadcrumbs.
  7. Cook chicken in preheated oil (180°C/350°F) for 10-12 minutes, rotating while cooking.
  8. Serve as is of brush some chili sauce on top.
