Fried chicken: the secret to make it tender insider and crispy outside!

Pour the milk over the chicken legs, the reason why is genius!

INGREDIENTS
1 kg chicken thigh
500ml (2.04 cups) milk
Salt
Pepper
 
Spice:
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp turmeric
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp thyme
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp black pepper
500g (4 cups) flour
80g (1/2 cup) starch
Oil
 
METHOD
  1. Make cuts in the chicken legs. Pour in milk. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour with starch and spices. Season each leg with salt, pepper, roll in flour, then dip in water and roll again in flour. Deep-fry.
