Rava cake with chocolate chips: soft, fragrant and delicious!

The Indian recipe for a delicious and fluffy cake! 
 
INGREDIENTS
340g (2 cups) rava;
120ml (½ cup) vegetable oil;
120g (½ cup) sour cream;
200g (1 cup) sugar;
300ml (1 ¼ cup) milk;
1//4 tsp salt;
¾ tsp baking powder;
¼ tsp baking soda;
½ tsp cinnamon;
170g (½ cup) chocolate chips.
METHOD
  1. Whisk vegetable oil with sour cream and sugar until pale. Add in blended rava and milk, set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix in salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. Add chocolate chips and pour into a prepared pan.
  4. Cook covered with a lid for around 1 hour over the lowest heat.
