Ingenious ways to reuse leftovers and food scraps!

MATERIALS
• Lettuce
• Soil
• Celery
• Mint
• Basil
• Onion
• Garlic
• Spring onion
 
METHOD
  1. Cut the bottom end of a lettuce and place it in a glass of water.
  2. Repeat the same process with celery and spring onion.
  3. Cut the leaves of a small bunch of mint and place them in a glass, repeat the same with basil.
  4. Cut the root of an onion and bury it in a pot with soil.
  5. Do the same with a clove of garlic.
  6. Let stand for 5-7 days.
