Sweet bread fritters: fluffy and delicious with just 5 ingredients!

They are a light and fluffy bite that’s always a hit at brunch! They are the perfect way to start your day!
INGREDIENTS
100 ml water
200 ml milk
7g dry yeast
400g flour
1 tsp sugar
Sunflower oil
Powdered sugar
METHOD
- In a small saucepan, mix water with milk and heat on low for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and add dry yeast. Stir until the yeast is almost dissolved. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and continue to stir for 20 seconds.
- Add flour to the bowl. Add the yeast mixture and start kneading the dough. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour. Grease a bowl with a little oil and let the dough stand until it doubles.
- Grease the work surface and the rolling pin with oil. Transfer the dough to a greased surface and use a rolling pin to create a rectangle 1 cm thick. Start cutting out donuts using a ring or glass.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a deep pan. Fry donuts until golden brown on both sides.
- Put on a paper towel.
- Roll in powdered sugar and serve.
