Homemade dried tomatoes are quite easy to make at home and it's a great way to preserve tomatoes!

• Capers
• Basil
• Plastic glass

METHOD
- Wash tomatoes well, dry with paper towels.
- Cut in half and place on a baking rack with the cut part up. Add salt to the tomatoes and bake for 3-4
hours at 90ºC/190ºF. Make sure to monitor the tomatoes so that they do not burn, and leave the
oven door slightly open so that the excess moisture can escape. - Place the tomatoes in a glass jar. Add salt, pepper, basil and olive oil.
- Use a plastic glass to compress the tomatoes and place the lid on top.
- Serve with fresh bread, capers and basil.
