These 3 Recipes Will Get You Cooking with Beer!

Beer-braised chicken:
INGREDIENTS
400g chicken
salt
pepper
bay leaves
basil
garlic
rosemary
250ml beer
olive oil
1tsp cornstarch
DIRECTIONS
1. Place the chicken in a bowl with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs.
2. Pour the beer over it and let it marinate for 90 minutes.
3. Brown the chicken in a pan with some olive oil. After about 10 minutes add the beer previously used to marinate the chicken.
4. Cook for 10 minutes, then add a teaspoon of cornstarch and continue cooking on low heat for 10 more minutes.
5. Serve once the liquid has turned into gravy.
Tip on how to make the gravy:
To turn the beer into a gravy, you must add cornstarch to it. The more beer you use the more cornstarch you will need to add to it to get it to become thicker.

sliced provola cheese
ham
beer
sage
flour, as needed
olive oil
DIRECTIONS
1. Flatten the beef slices and fill them with provola cheese and ham.
2. Roll them up and cover them in flour.
3. Cook them in a pan with olive oil and sage.
4. Pour the beer into the pan and let them cook for other 10/15 minutes.
5. Serve hot.

½ Can Beer (500ml can)
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Oregano
1 Tsp Paprika
½ Tsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions:
Mix together the salt, sugar, oregano, paprika and cumin.
Rub the chicken with olive oil and then pour over the spice mix and massage in the spice mix.
Open your beer can and remove (drink) half of the contents.
Place the chicken over the beer can and place on a baking sheet standing up.
Roast in the oven at 200°C or 390°F for 60 minutes or until the meat in the fattest part of the bird reaches 73°C or 164°F.
Allow to rest for 15 minutes before removing from the can and carving.
