Jalapeno Beer Bread

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
salt to taste
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 bottle good quality beer
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Grease a loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, salt, sugar, 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, butter and beer and stir just until incorporated.
Pour batter in loaf pan cover it wit remaining butter, sprinkle with cheddar cheese and jalapeno.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes, until golden brown on top.
Serve warm.
