These apple turnovers and very tasty, easy to make and really beautiful. You will need a roll of puff pastry, apricot jam, and thinly sliced apples. INGREDIENTS
puff pastry
jam
apple
egg wash
METHOD
Divide the puff pastry into two rectangles of equal size. Cover one rectangle with the apricot jam and the apple slices. Cut alternating slits on the other half of the puff pastry sheet, so it looks like a net. The final result is really incredible! Beat egg yolks with some milk and brush the tops of the apple turnovers with it. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until they have become golden brown. Serve hot with some tea for a sweet snack:D
