Salt in the garden: the benefits for your plants
published on 2 July, 2020 at 17:11
Epsom salt is a natural mineral, cheap and easily available. It can be really important for the health and flowering of plants.
In fact, Epsom salt contains magnesium, a fundamental element for the production of chlorophyll.
Recall that chlorophyll is a pigment present in the leaves and essential for photosynthesis.
Salt, as the images also show, can be used in several ways:
- Diluted with a liter of water and sprayed directly on the leaves
- Combined with plant soil
- Combined with fertilizer used for plant growth.
