Cookies filled with hazelnut cream or jam: they are absolutely a must-try

INGREDIENTS
140g (1/2 cup) of butter
12g (1 tbsp) of vanilla sugar
80g (1/2 cup) of sugar
1 egg
30g (1/4 cup) of cornstarch
250g (2 cups) of flour
8g (1/2 tbsp) of baking powder
A pinch of salt
Hazelnut cream
Jam
Powdered sugar
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the butter, vanilla sugar and sugar and start mixing with electric mixer. Add the egg and corn starch and continue with mixing. Finally add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix with spatula. When dough start to forming knead it with hands to obtain compact dough.
2. Arrange the sheet of parchment paper on a working surface and transfer the dough. Cover it with the one more parchment paper and roll it out with the the rolling pin.
3. Remove the parchment paper and cut the dough with the round mold. Remove the excess dough.
4. Add the hazelnut cream on the one circle and close it with the another one. Press it with the fingers on the side to close it well and remove the excess of the dough with the mold. Make the one more version with the jam.
5. Transfer them to the baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake in oven at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes.
6. Serve them all together after baking on a serving plate and decorate with powdered sugar.
