Potato savory churros: the delicious finger food to enjoy during your parties!

INGREDIENTS

150 g (1 medium) potato, peeled and chopped;
150 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour;
1 egg;
50 g (4 tbsp) butter;
½ tsp each salt and pepper;
200 ml (¾ cup) water;
20 g (1 tbsp) parmesan cheese.

METHOD

Boil potatoes in salted water until soft, then pass through the sieve and leave to cool down slightly.
Boil ⅔ cup water with butter, until the butter has melted. Add salt, pepper, and flour. Mix until smooth pastry forms.
Work one egg into the pastry, add some parmesan, and transfer into the piping bag.
Preheat vegetable oil and pipe out churros. Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden, transfer onto paper towels.
