Fried bread squares: a delicious alternative to usual bread!

A quick and easy bread to make that has a nice golden crust!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup warm milk;

2 eggs;

1 cup sharp cheese, shredded;

1/2 cup parsley, chopped;

¼ cup scallions, sliced;

Salt, pepper, chili flakes to taste;

3 ½ cup flour;

2 tsp baking powder.

METHOD

Combine all of the listed ingredients until smooth and slightly sticky dough forms.
Dust the working surface with flour generously, knead the dough, cut in half and roll each half out into 2 cm thick squire. Repeat with the other half.
Slice each squire into 9 pieces and fry them for around 5-6 minutes on both sides, or until golden, puffy and cooked through.
