1 Clever apple and chocolate cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 egg
120g butter
250g flour
140g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
apple, cut into cubes
chocolate chips
METHOD
1. Combine the butter, sugar and egg.
2. Add a pinch of salt, baking powder, and flour.
3. Lastly, add the apples and chocolate to the cookie dough.
4. Roll out the cookie dough into a square.
5. Cut it into rectangles and cover them in sugar.
6. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

2 Apple fritters balls

1. Beat the eggs together with the salt and sugar. Add the ricotta cheese, lemon zest, baking powder, and flour.
2. Make some balls with the dough (not too big) and deep fry them, a few at a time, in hot oil.
3. Dust them with sugar and serve!

3 Apple cake with jam

3 egg yolks
180g sugar
110g butter
salt
100ml milk
250g flour
16g baking powder
3 apples
3 egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks
cinnamon
jam, as needed
METHOD
1. Whip together the butter and salt, egg yolks and sugar.
2. First, add the milk, then gradually add the flour.
3. Add the baking powder, egg whites, cinnamon and chopped apples.
4. Pour the batter into a 22 cm cake pan. Garnish with some apple slices and jam.
5. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
6. Let it cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving

4 Puff pastry apple pie
INGREDIENTS
2 sheets of puff pastry
3 apples
100g custard
30g brown sugar
apricot jam, as needed
2 sheets of puff pastry

apricot jam, as needed
METHOD
- Cover a pie pan with a sheet of round puff pastry, pour the custard on top of the puff pastry and arrange the thinly cut apple slices around the outer edge.
- Alternate the apple slices with a strip of puff pastry ( cut the second sheet of puff pastry into strips), sprinkle with brown sugar and bake at 210°C for 30 minutes.
- After removing the pie from the oven, dust with powdered sugar.
