INGREDIENTS
1 roll puff pastry
100 g (½ cup) apple jam
1 egg
½ tsp cinnamon
50 g (½ cup) sugar

METHOD
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
2. Roll out the puff pastry and spread apple jam on top evenly. Roll the pastry back and cut the log into 8 pieces.
3. Use a chopstick to press each piece in the middle.
4. Brush apple pastries with whisked egg and sprinkle with the mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
5. Bake for 20 minutes.
