Fried meat pinwheels with ground beef and cheese: too delicious not to try them!

Great finger food for a picnic or drinks party, these pinwheels are tasty when still warm from the pan.
INGREDIENTS

500 g (1 pound) ground beef;
150 g (5 oz) sharp cheese, shredded;
1 egg;
1 garlic clove, minced;
½ tsp salt;
½ tsp pepper;
250 g (1/2 pound) flour;
2 eggs;
1 cup milk.
METHOD
- Season minced meat with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spread seasoned meat over a piece of plastic wrap to form a rectangle as large as your cutting board. Cover meat with shredded cheese and roll tightly.
- Freeze meat roll for 3-4 hours, making sure that it is solid but not totally frozen.
Make a simple batter by whisking flour, eggs, milk, and salt together. - Remove plastic from the roll, cut it into disks and roll each disk in flour before coating with batter.
- Fry for 10-12 minutes (5-6 minutes on each side) or until brown on the outside and fully done in the middle.
