Cheesy Taco Stuffed Shells: you no longer have to choose between Italian or Mexican food for dinner!

INGREDIENTS

360 g (12 oz) shell pasta;
500 g (1 pound) minced beef;
1 ½ cup tomato sauce;
1 small onion, chopped;
2 garlic cloves, minced;
1 cup cheese;
2/3 cup water;
2 tbsp taco seasoning mix.
- METHOD
Preheat oven to 180C/350F. - Cook jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions.
- Heat some olive oil over medium heat and use it to sauté onion. Add minced beef and break it with a spoon.
- Cook the beef through, until slightly browned. Add seasoning, 1 cup tomato sauce, water and garlic and let simmer down until almost no water left. Mix with ¾ cup cheese.
- Fill pasta shells with beef and place into a baking dish. Cover with more sauce and cheese, then bake for 15 minutes and serve with some fresh basil.
