Upside down strawberry cake: easy and delicious!

Uses simple ingredient and the cake turns out soft and fantastic tasting!

INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 4 cups fresh strawberries, cut into quarters
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
 
For cake
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• 4 large eggs
• 1 ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup melted butter
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
 
METHOD
1. Grease round 25cm baking form
2. Mix the cornstarch and 1/2 cup of sugar together and sprinkle on the strawberries, add the vanilla. Mix well and spread evenly over the bottom of the baking form.
3. Sift flour and salt. Put aside.
4. In a bowl with an electric mixer, beat the eggs and sugar.
5. Mix the butter and vegetable oil in a bowl.
6. Slowly add oil mixture to the egg and sugar mixture, and whisk.
7. Stir the vanilla extract in the milk.
8. Add milk mixture and flour mixed with salt one by one.
9. Pour the batter over the strawberries into the baking form.
10. Bake for 50-60 minutes at 180C/350F
