The fastest way to clean plastic containers and remove bad odors

Plastic containers are very useful in the kitchen but, at the same time, they can give off unpleasant odors if not properly cleaned. Here's the perfect method to wash them.
Fill a pot with water and heat it. Then remove it from the heat and soak the plastic containers, leaving them in water for 15 minutes. Then wash them with liquid dish soap and rinse well.
Pour baking soda into each container, shake and let it sit overnight. The next morning, rinse and odors will be gone.
