Tea Desserts That Are Almost Too Pretty To Eat

Ice cream cones:
Ingredients:
¼ cup warm milk;
¼ cup warm water;
1 tbsp sugar;
1 ½ tsp yeast;
1 ½ cup flour;
a pinch of salt;
3 tbsp melted butter;
egg wash;
½ cup melted chocolate;
melted butter, sugar for coating;
ice cream for serving.

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 190C/375F.
Using tin foil make cones as shown on the video.
Mix water, milk, sugar and yeast together. Set aside for 5 minutes.
Add flour and melted butter into the yeast mixture and knead for about 5 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough with towel and set aside for an hour.
Divide the dough in 3 parts. Roll each part into a thin rope and wrap around each cone.
Secure tin foil cones in a muffin tin cups and brush with egg wash.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, let cool down and remove the tin foil.
Brush donut cone with chocolate inside and cover with butter and cinnamon sugar on the outside.
Serve with ice cream.

Choux pastry with chocolate:

pastry cream of choice;
melted chocolate for décor.
½ cup flour;
¼ cup butter;
¼ cup water;
¼ cup milk;

Instructions
In a saucepan placed over medium heat mix butter, water and milk. Wait for the butter to melt completely, add salt, sugar and flour.
Stir to make a soft dough and remove from heat.
Beat three eggs into the dough gradually, adding one at a time, until smooth paste forms.
Fill pastry bag with choux pastry, cut off a small tip at the end.
Make small crown with dots of pastry on a parchment covered baking sheet.
Bake pastries at 200C/400F for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

2/3 cup brown sugar;
2 tsp cinnamon;
3 tbsp butter, melted;
1 egg, beaten;
1/3 cup sugar glaze for topping.

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200C/400F. Cover a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
Roll out the dough and brush it with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle the mixture on top of the rolled out dough.
Fold the dough twice and cut into strips. Twist each strip between your fingers, as shown on the video, to make a rope. Tight each rope into a knot hiding the ends of it.
Place cinnabon rolls on a parchment covered baking sheet and brush with beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
