BREAD CUPS WITH TOMATOES: a delicious appetizer you can make in just a few minutes!

INGREDIENTS
12 slices of bread
260g cherry tomatoes
Salt
Extra virgin olive oil
Fresh basil
 
METHOD
1. Place a slice of bread on a cutting board and flatten it with a rolling pin.
2. Use a mold (or cutter) to cut out the bread, then press it into a muffin tin to form a small cup. Repeat with all 12 slices.
3. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 5 minutes, until golden and crispy.
4. Cut the cherry tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a bowl. Season with salt and extra virgin olive oil, then mix well.
5. Fill the toasted bread cups with the seasoned tomatoes and garnish with fresh basil. Serve and enjoy!
