How to sterilize and clean glass jars
published on 6 August, 2021 at 12:38
Glass jars are really very useful as they allow you to better preserve jams and more.
Between one use and another, however, it is not enough to wash them but they must be sterilized well.
1. Put the jars in the microwave and leave them for 2/4 minutes.
2. Or fill a saucepan with water, insert the jars and bring to a boil. Leave them in the water until completely cooled. Do the same process with the caps.
3. For a truly perfect cleaning you can (after sterilizing them) wash the jars with water and sodium percarbonate.
