How to whiten kitchen towels without bleach

Kitchen towels get stained very often. There is a cheap and natural way to bleach them without using bleach.
needed:
50 ml white vinegar
2 tablespoons baking soda
60 gr Soap for grated laundry (the one in the video is homemade)
Method:
Fill a pot with water and add vinegar, baking soda and soap. Leave on the heat until you have obtained a foamy mixture. Put the cloths in a bowl and pour the mixture. Leave for 8 hours, rinse with cold water, squeeze and leave to dry.
