Flowers cookies: they are perfect for snack time!

They are adorable and the recipe is super easy!

INGREDIENTS

Dough:

250g (2 cups) flour (all purpose)

Grated zest of 1 lemon

120g (0.53 cup) butter

Salt

80g (0.66 cup) icing sugar

1 egg

Cocoa dough:

200g (1.6 cup) flour (all purpose)

40g cocoa

120g (0.53 cup) butter

Salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

80g (0.66 cup) caster sugar

1 egg

METHOD

Mix flour with butter, add lemon zest, salt, powdered sugar and an egg. Knead the dough.
Mix flour with cocoa and butter. Add salt, vanilla extract, powdered sugar and egg.
Knead the dough. Let chill two doughs for 30 minutes.
Roll out small balls and shape the cookies into a flower.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C / 350°F.
