Stuffed Maritozzi: make them at home by following just a few simple steps!

Filled with cream and super soft!
INGREDIENTS
10g fresh yeast
250ml milk
1 egg
500g flour + 8g salt
2 tsp vegetable oil
100g sugar
honey
lemon and orange zest
whipped cream

DIRECTIONS
1. Dissolve the yeast in milk. Add the egg, oil, sugar, and gradually add the flour and salt. Lastly, add the honey and the lemon and orange zest.
2. Let the dough rise for 2 hours, shape it into maritozzi and let them rest for at least 30 minutes before baking.
3. Bake at 180Β°C for 35 minutes. Let them cool before filling them with whipped cream.
